Writing Staff:
Chief Theatre Critic - Los Angeles
OnStage is seeking a theatre critic who can build upon the success of our established theatrical coverage as well as develop coverage in the Los Angeles market. The ideal candidate must:
- Have excellent reporting and writing skills
- Previous or current theatre critique experience
- Possess or generate strong relationships with Public Relations Firms or publicity personnel at various theatres.
- Produce informative, sharp, and entertaining monthly/weekly theatre reviews
- Possess strong, informed, trustworthy opinions
Background in theatre is not required. Position is a paid position based on viewership however stipends can be discussed during interview process.

OnStage is looking for columnists who are interested in contributing insightful columns and essays related to the theatre arts. The ideal candidates should be able to:
- Present a wide range of edited opinions from regular columnists representing diverse perspectives from across and beyond the theatre community.
- Write multiple columns per month
- Explore new ways of engaging readers on the critical issues facing the theatre community.
Background in theatre is not required. Position can be a paid position based on viewership.
