I'm going to let you in on a not-so-secret, I love the Christmas season. I wish I could tell you exactly why but it's a combination of many things. Whether it's getting together with family, buying gifts, living so close to NYC, I love it all.

From Black Friday to the Day after Christmas, holiday music is playing non-stop in my house and car. I'm sure many of you do the same. What should surprise you is that many of the best holiday songs actually originated from musicals.

So here are 10 that should definitely be on your playlists.

We Need A Little Christmas - From "Mame"

Turkey Lurkey Time from "Promises, Promises"

Christmas Lullaby from "Songs for a New World"

Hard Candy Christmas from "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas"

Counting Down to Christmas from "A Christmas Story"

White Christmas from "Holiday Inn"

Snow from "White Christmas"

Christmas Bells from "RENT"

Never Fall In Love (With An Elf) from "Elf"

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas from "Meet Me in St. Louis"
