If This Fan Theory of the Ending of 'Hamilton' is Wrong, Then I Don't Want to Be Right

If you’ve seen 'Hamilton’ then I’m sure you’ve weighed in on your interpretation of Eliza’s gasp at the end of the show. I know I’ve got mine.

But Mallory Ellis might have just stumbled upon the best one that I’m fine with accepting as the truth. She posted it on her TikTok which was then tweeted on a someone else’s account.

Masterfully done. Had me in tears. And yet, according to the creator himself, her theory was wrong.

That’s alright. I’m 100% happy with this last moment being up for interpretation and perhaps never knowing the correct answer. But man, Mallory Ellis’ is the best I’ve seen yet.
