Movie Musical Shakedown Ep# 27 - "Moulin Rouge"

This week we deep dive into 2001’s “Moulin Rouge”. Arguably Baz Luhrmann’s best film, it went to nab 8 Oscar nominations including Best Picture. My guest co-host, Grace Aki, and I take a look at everything from its music, gorgeous design and smart casting choices. It should be a spectacular spectacular podcast!

Random Trivia: During Satine's trapeze entrance, blue light was used due to Nicole Kidman's pale skin tone, the director found that the blue light made her almost "glow" and therefore stood out during the scene.
