Eternal Theatre Collective presents the Canadian Premiere of SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN by Steven Levenson
“The play is so real that you almost believe it was written by one of its characters.” - The New York Times
The entirely youth run Eternal Theatre Collective is proud to present the Canadian Premiere of SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN by Steven Levenson (Dear Evan Hansen), at Studio 16 from March 7 - 10, 2018.
It's a Friday night in 1995. Six over-stimulated, under-supervised high school students are gathered in Margot's basement to meet her mysterious boyfriend from summer camp -- though none of them have even seen a picture of him and he has yet to show up. As the teens keep themselves busy with rounds of party games, the night gives way to stolen kisses, malicious gossip, and broken hearts. This heartbreaking, hilariously real play showcases the absurd and terrible ecstasy of being young in America.
SEVEN MINUTES IN HEAVEN is a startlingly accurate look into the minds of teenagers. The all youth cast features Julien Hicks (15 years old), Shelby Satterthwaite (18 years old), Hira Lalani (16 years old), Alain Tahir (17 years old), Sean Cuevas (16 years old), and Brielle Chan (16 years old).
