First Midnight! Patina Miller & More In Hollywood Bowl INTO THE WOODS

Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's 1988 Tony Award-winning fairy tale musical INTO THE WOODS will be presented at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles later this year and a spate of popular stage and screen stars have been confirmed this week.

EGOT recipient Whoopi Goldberg will voice The Giant, while Tony Award winner Patina Miller will essay the role of The Witch.

Additionally, STRANGER THINGS breakout Galen Matarazzo will portray Jack and THE WIZ LIVE! headliner Shanice Williams will play Little Red Riding Hood. Robert Longbottom will direct, with music direction by Kevin Stites.

Further casting is expected in the coming weeks.

INTO THE WOODS is scheduled to run Friday, July 26, at 8PM; Saturday, July 27, at 8PM; and Sunday, July 28, at 7:30PM. Individual tickets go on sale Sunday, May 5.
