The Wallis presents "Autism: The Sequel" on HBO's YouTube page for FREE
Jill Weinlein - Chief Los Angeles Theatre Critic
Monday, May 4 at 6 pm PDT join The Miracle Project and GRoW @ The Wallis for a virtual panel discussion on adulthood, independence and autism with several of the stars and the filmmakers of Autism: The Musical and Autism: The Sequel.
The HBO Emmy-winning documentary shares the triumphs and challenges of adults on the autism spectrum.
The original film Autism: The Musical featured The Miracle Project following five children with autism and their families as they prepared for and performed an original musical. The new short film Autism: The Sequel looks into these families lives now and answers the prevailing question that keeps parents up at night “What will happen to my child with autism when he or she grows up?”
Since 2015, The Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts has been the artistic home for The Miracle Project, an expressive performing arts program founded by Elaine Hall for individuals with autism and all abilities.
Watch Autism: The Sequel on HBO’s YouTube page for Free until May 5, 2020. Attend the live panel discussion May 4 at 6 pm PST by emailing admin@themiracleproject.org.
